t'was a great way to start the day :P i typed TWO angry posts, ranting about silly things, but deleted them anyway.

yesterday! work, eyebrow threading with sis, TUTUKUEHS &peach green tea, picked mom up, ntu with sab, marcus seng, ching &michael, then HOMEEE.
BUT. the day ended eventfully, thanks to SHAWN TING. marcus dropped me at the carpark, after which i walked to the lift lobby, thinking that i was ALL ALONE. while waiting for the lift, however, i heard faint ghostly chinese songs playing at the background. i thought i was hearing things so i ignored it at first, but it grew LOUDER AND LOUDER. i started panicking like shit, so i whipped around, only to see the awesome shawn ting smiling &walking towards me, playing music on his phone. KNS. i was seriously, seriously, super scared. omgggg.
today! school :( spent the day in the upper deck which really felt like a sauna, but it was great, cos i got some studying done (at last), and i met kai, mich &ben (: so YAY.

the days have been passing quite fast, and recess week is officially over :(
spent the first day back at school doing up my silly presentation for thursday's class. let's hope the rest of the group spruces up my slides, cos i really suck at ppt. i usually go for something simple: white slides with black words or black slides with white words. HAHA. and yes, i use the word 'simple' to mask the fact that i'm really not good at ppt :S
on a lighter note, i spent the last saturday of my recess week with them:
euan, my sweet &ever so cuddly neighbour who just turned FOUR, and fion, my darling niece who just turned FIVE :D
tiring, but definitely worth it (:
euan stood outside at the corridor shouting "HI NEIGHBOURRRR!" and "HEYYYY IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!" just before they came over to make popcorn. and btw, he just turned FOUR but he knows how to use an iPad. PFFFT. and to think that when i was four, i only knew that barbie dolls wore pretty dresses &that i had a pollypocket cinderella castle. HAHA. oh wait. or maybe that was five :S
owells. SLEEP CALLS! work tmr at 9am :S yes, apparently it's hard to make an effort. even a tiny one.
looks like it didnt take long for things to bounce back into place. yesterday was a fantastic daaaay.

people who gets angry &rolls their eyes when they come in near closing time &does not manage to get a waffle because they're all sold out. i'm sorry i'm not harry potter, so no matter how many times you repeat the words "ONE WAFFLE" to the many times that i repeat "SORRY WE'RE OUT OF WAFFLES", a batch of waffle mix will not magically appear in front of me for me to make that ONE waffle for you.

people who get angry &glare at others when they are served in a paper bowl instead of a ceramic bowl just because they come in TWELVE MINUTES before closing &take five minutes to decide their order. HELLO. i even closed later for you &helped you keep your takeaway icecream in the freezer until you leave. it's just a matter of PAPER or CERAMIC. omg seriously. if you really have some ceramic fetish, please feel free let me know your needs. i will cater to them accordingly.

people who shout &glare at others when their clean packet of tissue accidentally falls onto their bag while the other party was cleaning the table for them. i'm truly sorry that i did not notice your GOLDEN TICKET in your packet of tissue at the edge of the table, so thankyou for shouting a loud "OEI" at me &shooting lasers at me with your big beady eyes.

people who get pissed off when they order after others &are told to please hold on for a short while while the initial order is being processed. yes, because you're ordering more, i should have rolled out the red carpet, ignored all other initial orders and served only YOU &YOU ALONE.

i spent almost an hour trying to do some icing on the cake that my sister baked for my mom, &i'm now stuck in my room trying to fold balloons into a bouquet of flowers VERY VERY QUIETLY. courtesy of my new found shifu, marcus seng! :D he even provided me with the balloons because he insisted that the quality outside is not as good and that it would be more expensive (: so yayyy. my flowers have different sized petals, but i dont care :P it's already a HUUGEEE chore making them QUIETLY, so i shall just take it as circumstances have impeded improvements of my skills. or something. HAHA.
back to folding more balloons! wish me luck surviving the rest of the day tmr with the very little sleep that i'd probably get :S so i laughed at eugene's tweet this morning:

so many things have changed over the past few months, and i guess it's been really tiring.
but i'm back, and i'm going to stand on my own two feet, because i know i can. and hopefully my new found optimism lasts for longer than expected.
