anyway,
past few days have been good days.
thursday &friday were stay-home days, as my doctor advised me to stay home and, i quote, "don't talk. just sms." HAHA. so i talked lessed &spammed my laptop &the tv with videos &movies and what not. friday was slightly better cos zhen bought me $18 worth of froyo :D i haven't eaten it yet though! sick people can't eat froyos until they get better *crosses fingers* I WANT TO GET BETTER SO I CAN ATTACK THAT LARGE TUB OF FROYO PLEASE.
saturday was xiaohui's birthday! (:
headed to zhen's place with a large bouquet of flowers for his awesome sis, whose very sweet boyfriend surprised her with a nice get together lunch at basilico@the regent hotel with us &a few of her good friends (: FOOD WAS SUPER AWESOME BTW. we ate until i thought i would burst into a million pieces, &they had extremely awesome desserts like champagne jelly.
went with zhen to pick up the super duper angry birds cake that he insisted on ordering for his sis (:

WITH SUCH DELICIOUS LOOKING CAKES, HOW CAN YOU NOT ORDER THEM?! hahahaha. i already have in mind what i want for my birthday cake this year, and my birthday isn't for the next 5-6 months. LOL.
anyway,
moving on to sunday! :D sunday was my dad's company's family day :D
seriously the best family day ever (:
we had breakfast at coffee bean, then spent the rest of the day going crazy at universal studios, attacking that uber large pizza &buying myself that very awesome gingerbread man :D hehehehehehhe. dad was crazy &sat the two largest rollercoasters in the theme park, &tried to drag my sis &i with him, but i thought i would die &refused to go. he didnt let me forget it though. he spent the whole of last night telling me how i would regret having never sat on those awesome rides :S HAHA.

anyway the week has begun again, so it's back to reality.
i think i'm in desperate need of counseling. someone please HELP MEEEE she goin' through the club looking for a good time

so many things to think about,
esp with regards to friendship, work, and even future schooling possibilities.
i'm just glad that despite everything,

on a very good note, my throat hurts less now despite the flu, so. yay.
okay. lesson plans call. i need to finish em up so i can head to bed &concuss zzzz

i am officially sick again. fever came &left, so i thought i was finally illness free, only to head to bed with a bad nose last night &to wake up with a bad throat. my best friends are now Panadol Cold, Danzen, Salt Water &Pearlie White Chlor-Rinse. FML.
i seriously hate being freaking sick. go ahead, click back to my previous entries this month: it's almost all about me being sick. grrr. a part of me is starting to wonder if this job is the job for me, because my immunity has always been bad, and it feels like at the rate i'm going, i might just end up dying from a simple cough, flu or fever. (*TOUCH WOOOOOD*)

but luckily this time it's not that bad. fever, in replacement of cough &flu &bronchitis and what not. zzz
anyway, i managed to get of work early yesterday as my kid went on holiday,
so i left at 5.30pm instead of the usual 6.30pm :D
went to meet zhen for dinner, after which i headed straight home cos my head was hurting like a bitch, and my legs felt like jelly. slept SUUUPER early (i.e. 10.30pm), and guess what. i woke up with the same headache, only slightly less painful.
so i headed into work,
with the headache staying with me the whole way, and midway during my first overlap session,
i checked my temperature, and tadaaaaahhh. slight fever (very slight, thankfully). after lunch, my head was still hurting, so i went to pop some panadols. awhile later, tadaaaahhh. it went up. FML. zzzz
on a lighter note,
it went down after work, so hopefully it'd be gone tomorrow.
i need all the help i can get for tomorrow, cos i need to play the bad guy &make my kid cry tomorrow. zzzzzz
okay. shall stop staring at the screen. head hurts again.
zzzzz i seriously love fridays so much now that i'm beginning to wonder if that could have sparked off rebecca black's horribly auto-tuned song. however, she's super young, so i highly doubt she can mutually feel the great importance of the arrival of friday, so i choose NOT TO BELIEVE IN HER LOVE FOR FRIDAYS. WAIT TILL YOU START WORKING, DUDETTE. you'd be singing friday so joyfully that everyone will feel the emotions in that horribly written song.

dad came home (: with a bottle of champagne &a bottle of bombay. HOHO. i was the happiest creature alive, as i thought he completely forgot about my gin, &i didnt remind him either. hahaha. i also headed to Barossa with zhen &sab, where sab &i got free beers from the manager &some random dude behind us. and we had our girly heart-to-heart talks after zhen left, so it was really great <3

x-men! (: with yx &zhen at cine. we almost didnt get to watch it, as we didnt book tickets, &somehow the whole world decided it was a good day to watch movies. so almost ALL the shows had their tickets selling fast or sold out alr. headed to the forum after that to meet eugene &his friends to head to pasir ris for xiaohui's 21st birthday! :D:D AND. i managed to catch up with my twin (GENETOHH), my monkey (CLEMENNNT), my kindergarten friend (GIMMM), my freshie (SWEEWWWWEI) &my fellow A houser (GENEKOHH). so it was a really good night (:

church was great, and i had lunch at superlicious, which was awesome. PLUS, i managed to meet sab for a tiny bit before running off to meet kenchin for a nice meet up (: AND, i had dinner at my aunt's (aka didi's place), and i managed to send didi into camp. so today was seriously an awesome day.
on a lighter note,
i really need to stop making my weekends so awesome. it's making all my mondays daaaaaaamn BLUUEEEEEE :(:(:( WHAT. AM. I. DOING. i don't know what's up with me.
i've been falling sick like nobody's business, and recovering at the speed of a tiny, tiny, snail.
so i've been sick for 5 weeks, and this week's the 6th. i would like to think that i'm more or less recovered, except my voice isn't back yet, so i still sound relatively manly/raspy. someone i just met for the first time last night actually told me my voice was very husky, so i'm freaking depressed now. I DO NOT WISH TO BE RASPUTIN FOREVERRRRR
anyway, this brings us to today. i went to sleep with cramps, and ignored them. woke up in the middle of the night with a horrrrrible stomachache, &told myself i must be dreaming or it'd just go away, so i ignored them again. when this morning came, however, i went a grand total of three times. thanks to mom's smart thinking, she gave me two packs of charcoal pills, so i'm starting to feel a lot better. except i'm not at work again, because i don't think it's very wise of me to be needing to run to the bathroom throughout the whole session with the kid. the sucky part is although i'm starting to feel better, i still need to go get an MC -.- pfft. all charcoal pill pack should come with pre-prescribed MCs. #justsaying
on a sadder note,
i feel like i'm back to my JC days, where i fell sick once every month, with the exception of december. therefore, in 2006, i had a grand total of 10 bouts of flu, 10 bouts of sore throats/cough, and 1 case of food poisoning. WOE IS ME. why the hell is my immunity system throwing me around the place THINGS INTO ME?! (hmm that probably fits better.)
pfft this sucks man.
please please please please please please please let me feel betterrrrr

i bought my parents dinner at peperoni's (YUMMEH GOODNESS), and myboy very awesomely brought over his large angry bird plushie for me to loan for three weeks, just to make me happy <3 (: yayyy.
i also went to meet my girrrls (sab cat &mich lim) &kai at barossa, which was definitely one of the best nights ever (:
yesterday,
i went to meet my very missed secondary sch girls for ramen at Clarke Quay Central (: couldn't follow them to Settler's, but i'm glad i could meet them for lunch all the same :D went to do some work, then went with zhen to pick up ben's super deliciously looking &tasting cake, then headed down to Red Dot (:

i guess this is one of the points in time when things seem to get a bit frustrating and stuff.
thank goodness for having my awesome kid in the afternoon, or i probably would have broken down.

fish &co with jnghow, nicole &aaron was awesome, followed by abit of retail therapy &drinks at harry's. YES I FINALLY GOT MY G&T AFTER 4 WEEKS OF ILLNESS. hahaha. okay technically i'm still abit sick, considering the fact that my voice doesn't seem to be FULLY coming back. but i'm sure it will soon :P besides. i'm drinking hot almond tea now to counter the effects :P
sigh.
i wish tonight will never end. life's been pretty okay recently.
shopping with sab, met my new kid, dinner with zhen &kai &i've also been surrounded by yoghurt, which is pretty awesome.
on a really sad note,
theboy just reminded me that he's probably only going to be in sg for another year, after which, he'd most likely fly off overseas to continue studying. zzzz. plus, he wants to be a hermit.
