HONGKONG!
had a blast with my mom, sis, aunt &sab (: it was the first time sab &i were traveling together, so it was pretty exciting :D
day ONE (4th oct):
- 6.40am flight.
- a mighty sweet marcus seng came to send us off (:
- jetstar!
- $10 chicken rice :(
- SLEEEEEEEP zzzZZZ
- first taxi ride in HK :D
- HOLIDAY INN!
- lam fong yuen cafe for lunch (:
- chicken clock (which i never got :( so saaad)
- got our hotel rooms! (:
- shopping at prince edward area + meetups with uncle jimmy &aunty olivia for dinner!
- LADIES MARKET (which was quite disappointing btw)
- internet tethering by the extremely smart sab (:
day TWO (5th oct):
- didnt hear alarm, but instantly woke when sab got up + ready by 9am! (:
- DIM SUM at SWEET DYNASTY (freaaaaking awesome tangyuans ftw)
- went to grab a ferry to Macau
- got our tickets &went in, only to realize that WE DIDNT BRING OUR PASSPORTS HAHAHAHA
- went shopping at sogo, island beverly × square = THE SUPER AWESOME BEAUTIFUL SHOES WHICH I SERIOUSLY WANTED TO GET BUT THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME SO EXORBITANTLY :(
- ben &jerry's (:
- dinner with aunty judy
- MONGKOK'S Argyle Center (:
- the realization that everyone sleeps damn peacefully &super wonderfully under extremely cold circumstances! hibernation ftw.
day THREE (6th oct):
- Macau! this time with our passports (:
- 1 hour long ride via turbojet under extremely rocky conditions
- 100HKD per person for a tour around Macau = St Paul's, portuguese egg tarts, macau tower, bubble tea, Macau's oldest chinese temple, loaaads of picture taking, etc
- MGM GRAND!
- jackpot machines = losing 20HKD :( (sab was damn awesome &won a few dollars!!!)
- late ferry = late arrival = extremely late dinner/supper
day FOUR (7th oct): LAST DAY :(
- early morning packing!
- britain's next top model + america's next top model while waiting for mom, sis &aunt to get ready = america's models seemed a whole lot better than the britain ones
- aunt left to stay with aunty judy, because she's staying a day more!
- check out + bag depositing, then BRUNCH at Liang Liang Noodle Shop.
- split up! sab &i went to Mongkok's Argyle Center, and mom &sis walked around Tsim Sha Tsui and HarbourCity area
- SHOPPING! we didnt even have to bargain, because they charged us reasonably cheap prices from the start, and they were definitely waaaaaay nicer than the people in island beverly. PFFT.
- HUI LAU SHAN is the BEST THING EVER ONE EARTH OMG. I WOULD CHOOSE HUI LAU SHAN OVER BUBBLE TEEEEAAAA ANYTIMEEEE
- Ladies Market again! to pick up sab's chinabag &a gift for my very awesome &cute 9 year old neighbour (:
- packing of bags in the Hotel's baggage room
- FLYING OFF to the airport! (:
- flight delayed :(
- chocolate &candy shopping at Sophistica = both sis &i spent HK335 EACH on chocolates &candies!
- popeye's for dinner!
- almost late for flight, because we got stuck at page ONE looking at the free gifts given by magazines
- caught the bus that brought us to the flight + switched seats to sit next to sab + SLEEEEEP zzzZZZ
-HOME SWEET HOME!! (: (: (:
OKAY.
that was mighty long! haha.
overall, HK was awesome (: the shopping was really, really so-so, but the food was AWESOME. we were either lucky to have walked into random shops that cooked extremely awesome food, or almost all the shops in HK sell extremely awesome food :P i miss the dimsum &desserts already :( ESPECIALLY HUI LAU SHAN OMG.
