happy (belated) valentine's day (:

cupcakes! thank goodness i didnt procrastinate that day &i had sab to accompany me to poon huat &this other place at chip bee gardens to buy my baking stuff! or i just might have been too lazy to bake these for my lovelies <3
spent my entire (approx 2.30pm to 12.30am) sunday baking these &sugar cookies, followed by cooking on vday evening itself, so i feel pretty domesticated :P PLUS my hands still reek of onions &garlic, and i got burnt on my knee &foot by the pasta sauce that flew out of my pot while i was making dinner for myboy zzzz.
AND. i've been pretty clumsy. i dropped super a lot of things during baking &cooking, including toppling over my pot of boiling oil, which almost landed onto myself, but got saved by my maid who valiantly grabbed the handle &swooped it to safety (YES, very drama). after that, while trying to put a clean dish into drying rack, i somehow managed to hit a measuring cup in an angle that it FLEW off the rack, almost whacking my maid on the head in the process.
yes, i am very smart.
on a sleepier note, i'm super tired.
note to self: change alarm timing so as not to be woken up at 5 in the morning.
