happy birthday to my monster of a sister, SHIRLENEYEONG! (:
i baked her birthday cake this year, which took me one whole entire day. fondanting a cake is really the hardest thing ever, so i understand why people charge a few hundred dollars for a customized fondant cake. zzz. so anyway, we spent a nice afternoon at Barracks @Dempsey's, followed by getting a quick manicure at Far East, though now i think my nails look like a small girl's nails. zzzz.
anyway, we had a nice birthday dinner at the Steakhouse @Clarke Quay, which had really fantastic meat &fantastic service, followed by a customized birthday profiteroles platter for my sister, along with my (embarrassing) cake for my sister. hahaha. headed for drinks at holiday inn after that, and i really must say: 42Below Honey is one of my new favourite drinks. hahaha.
AND YAY DIDI JUST CALLED!! <3
this was the first family birthday dinner without that horrible, annoying, cousin of mine. haha.
