en route;
"Now, with no walls, we live in the wide, wide world. But the world is much wider and much weirder than we could have ever imagined. Indeed, from our current vantage-point the world seems limitless, running on and on forever; never-ending, simply curving, sloping downward until it is just out of view. We sit in our armchairs and look out at it, this unending world. We have to admit: it is all somewhat very terrifying, to have no limits like this. Shouldn’t it stop? we say to ourselves. But it does not.
...
If we could all only live in boxes — a thing to think about at night, under the endless stars. …If we could do it. And if we did it, would it be cowardly and turtle-ish, to live hidden like that? Or would it simply be a necessary shielding from the wider world?"

i used to speak of bubbles &hiding in them,
and while i have recently stepped out of them, a friend has indirectly reminded me that perhaps stepping out was not a good thing. happiness? uncertainty? maybe staying inside my bubble would've been a much better option.
g'night world,
the meds are finally kicking in.
