Christmas has often been a time of love &thanksgiving, and this year was definitely no exception. i convinced my parents to have wine shots over dinner with me, managed to countdown with them &'jump' on my dad, who ended up surprising me instead, followed by more drinks &ice skipping with boonyi &my new 'boon' friend. i got woken up early by dad who burst into my room a few hours later, shouting "merry christmas!" into my ear, followed by a small but heartwarming gift exchange/ceremony with the entire family present. they then brought me to jcube for the first time in my life (don't judge me!), even though dad really doesn't enjoy walking around.
at night, the usual bunch of us got invited to zhen's place, and even though yixian &i ended up going on a wild goose chase from greenwood to binjai park to pick up our enormous family sized pizza, we received a lot of love and a 'sorry' message spelt out using peanuts &caramel corn (HAHA).
sure, 2012 was not an easy road to walk.
but with family &friends like these, how can anyone really complain?
